Skerries boasts all you would expect from a vibrant and sophisticated town that has established itself through centuries, there are excellent schools, banks, shops, restaurants, bars and much much more. Facilities here cater to the most demanding needs. The Skerries Point Shopping Centre, new primary school and the train station are particulary close to Barnageeragh Cove.
The town is served by regular Commuter Train, and with over 20 trains to Connolly Station each weekday it’s a commuters dream, travel time to Connolly Station is approximately 30 Minutes where there are links to the LUAS and DART services. Skerries is also served by Dublin Bus numbers 33, 33a and 33n with provide a regular service to the city.
By private car the M1 is accessed at Junction 4 near Swords which provides access to Dublin International Airport, the M50, the Port Tunnel, the city and beyond.
If sailing is your thing, you can set out from the Harbour for a day trip to the Isle of Man or a holiday in France, the harbour is extensively used for pleasure craft and sailing while it remains a landing port for Dublin Bay Prawns.
